  • Screenshots (only when explicitly enabled)

Audio Data:

  • Microphone audio from meetings, calls, and conversations (with explicit consent)

⚠️ CRITICAL RECORDING LAW WARNING: Audio capture includes system-level audio that may contain conversations from third-party applications (Zoom, Teams, phone calls, etc.). You are solely responsible for obtaining all required consents and complying with applicable recording laws before enabling audio capture. Recording laws vary by jurisdiction and may require all-party consent. AnyTeam is not responsible for your compliance with recording laws.

File System Data:

  • Access to specified files and folders (with explicit consent)

1.5 Recording Laws and User Compliance

IMPORTANT LEGAL NOTICE: The AnyTeam desktop application captures system-level audio that may include audio from third-party applications and services. This functionality creates significant legal responsibilities for users.

User Obligations: Before enabling audio capture, you must:

  • Understand recording laws applicable in your jurisdiction

  • Obtain all required consents from conversation participants

  • Comply with third-party platform terms of service

  • Provide appropriate notice to meeting participants

  • Consider international legal requirements when participants are in different countries

Common Legal Requirements:

  • All-Party Consent Jurisdictions: Some states (like California) and countries require consent from ALL participants

  • One-Party Consent: Other jurisdictions only require one participant's consent (yours)

  • Business vs. Personal: Different rules may apply to business and personal conversations

AnyTeam's Role and Limitations:

  • We provide the technical capability to capture audio but cannot monitor your compliance
